Our mission is to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders, by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.

This year in Robotics we aim to compete on at least three different platforms.  The first being LEGO Mindstorms NXT, which combines the unlimited versatility of the LEGO building system with an intelligent microcomputer brick and intuitive drag-and-drop programming software. The second, and primary focus for the fall semester is called the VEX Robotics System.  The VEX Robotics Competition is the largest and fastest growing middle and high school robotics program globally with more than 2,600 teams from 20 countries playing in over 200 tournaments worldwide. Local VEX Robotics Competition events are being held in many different cities, states and countries. Events are held worldwide and are being added every week to RobotEvents.com. This year's game VEX GATEWAY. Students, with guidance from their teachers and mentors, aim to build the most innovative robots possible and work together to obtain the most points possible. In addition to just having a great time and building amazing  robots, through their participation in the VEX Robotics Competition and their work within their team, students will learn many academic and life skills.
